Our Executive Director

Britta Cammarata joined Portside Grande Dunes in April 2018. She began her career in senior care in Pennsylvania in 2002 as a human resource manager. That experience evolved into a passion for enriching the lives and care for seniors. This career path has allowed her to gain extensive experience as an administrator in acute care, skilled nursing, hospice and assisted living. Her educational background is focused on healthcare management and health and wellness with which she holds a Master's degree in both. She is also a certified personal trainer holding certifications as a Senior Fitness Specialist, Women's Fitness Specialist, and Stability Ball coach.

This passion for the industry extends to her team by promoting a positive work environment. She believes residents and their families come first and treating each one with love, kindness, respect and most of all dignity. She firmly believes in getting to know the residents with the help of their families. This allows her team to be able to customize a retirement lifestyle, provide exceptional assisted living services, as well as integrate resident centered, life enrichment, opportunities that reflects the needs and interests of each resident.

She is proud to be part of Portside Grande Dunes Community and feels blessed to work with a team that strives daily to ensure all residents, in every capacity, truly feel we are the community that cares in providing the very best senior living experience. On a personal level Britta enjoys spending time with her family, her four-legged children and enjoys baking cookies cakes and candies for her staff and residents.
